Weddding Wednesday… Our Eco Wedding Fair…
October 31, 2012
So for the last few months, since I started at riverstation working on weddings we have been organising our very own wedding fair!
It’s focus is on environmentally friendly suppliers, who are so either through how they work or the products they sell. This is something that is quite important to the restaurant and its owners and ever since it has open it has made steps towards being eco friendly…
You can meet;
L’Occtaine (Natural Beauty Products)
The Mews (English designer Wedding Dresses)
Rachel Goodchild Designs (On-line invites)
Babes in the Woods (Amazing Hen Parties)
Arch House Deli (award winning Deli, selling Wedding Cheese Cakes)
Aunties Vintage China (China for hire)
Red Bird Makes (Eco wedding props and accessories)
Copoazu (Locally made Ice cream, served by bike and cart)
The Vintage Sash Company (Chair Covers)
Pon Pom Flowers (South West based WOW florist)
Ivory Flowers (My favourite, I shop there every week!)
Pete Cranston Photography (South West based photographer keeping it Eco)
Holly Wallace Photography (Regular photographer at riverstation)
Pedal Walla (Rickshaw Transport)
Bristol Packet (Boats – Transport)
LK Bespoke Bridal (Handmade Corsets)
Bespoke Confetti (Naturally made confetti)
Trees of Tomorrow (Green wedding favours)
So on the day we have some really great people coming along, we have stalls, workshops, some wedding dresses being modelled, some gorgeous goody bags and some prizes to be won.
You can also, of course, talk to us about booking our beautiful venue for your own big day… or for any other kind of event too!
We will also be showing off riverstation’s very own wedding cakes from our talented bakers!
You don’t have to be getting married yourself to come along, maybe you’re just a little curious about the eco friendly suppliers, or bring a friend who is.
There is still time to register – just email us at relax at riverstation dot co dot uk and tell us who’s coming, but be quick our goody bags are running out now!
The fair is at riverstation this Saturday from 11am till 4pm.
