The Marlborough Sounds – New Zealand (first look)

July 2, 2012

This wasn’t my first view of New Zealand but it’s the one that will blow you away so we are starting here.

We flew in Wellington and left the next day to drive around the South Island.

You get a ferry from the North Island and go through the Marlborough Sounds.

If you go, then this is what you need to see. It is beyond stunning.

I get mad travel sick, but the ferry is kinda big and the air was so fresh (being in the early morning) and the views incredible. I couldn’t help but forget about the sickness.

We will come back to the Sounds again at the end of the trip… they are amazing. Right now… I am kinda of still gutted I’m not there now.
